Missouri's 5th Congressional District · 2026

Micah Beebe Fighting for Missouri. For Congress.

A lifelong Missourian. Small business champion. Father. Conservative leader ready to take back Missouri's 5th District and deliver results for hardworking families.

A Campaign Built on Missouri Values

This district doesn't need another politician. It needs someone who has negotiated hard deals, built something from scratch, and has everything at stake in getting this right. Born and raised in MO-5. Married 17 years. Father of five. I’m running because the people making decisions in Washington have never lived the life the rest of us are fighting to protect — and it shows.

Micah Beebe — candidate for U.S. House, Missouri's 5th District
"We go big in our house — and I'll bring that same energy to Washington for Missouri."
— Micah Beebe

Micah Beebe grew up in Kansas City, in the heart of Missouri’s 5th Congressional District. He could see the downtown skyline from the front porch of his childhood home off Truman and Topping. He knows this land, these communities, and these families — because they’re his own.

For over 13 years, Micah has built a career navigating complex, high-stakes real estate transactions — working alongside investors, developers, and businesses from Kansas City to Dallas. He understands what it takes to close a hard deal, manage real risk, and deliver results when it matters most. And he has watched firsthand as Washington’s tax burden, regulatory overreach, and open-border failures made every one of those deals harder — and made life harder for the Missouri farmers, entrepreneurs, and working families he serves alongside every day.

But what defines Micah most isn’t what he has built professionally — it’s what he and his wife have built at home. This July they will celebrate 17 years of marriage. Together they have five children. Nine years ago, they opened their hearts and their home to a sibling group of three from Texas’s foster care system — and added two biological children along the way. They went from zero to five kids in two years. As Micah puts it, they go big in their house.

That same conviction — to show up, commit fully, and fight for the people depending on you — is exactly what Micah will bring to Washington.

In Congress, Micah will cut taxes for Missouri workers and small businesses, secure the gains President Trump has made on the border, put Missouri farmers first, and stand as a united front with President Trump and Governor Kehoe to deliver real results for every community stretching from Kansas City to Jefferson City.

Missouri raised him. Now it’s his turn to fight for Missouri.

Micah's Priorities for Missouri

Bold conservative solutions for Missouri's families, farmers, and future.

Border Security & National Sovereignty

The invasion is over — keep it that way

President Trump delivered what Washington said was impossible — the most secure border in American history. Illegal crossings are at the lowest levels in over three decades, running nearly 97% below the Biden administration’s peak. That historic record must be protected, expanded, and made permanent — and I will fight every single day to make sure it is.

  • Vote to fully fund border wall construction — the One Big Beautiful Bill allocated $46.5 billion to finish the wall; I will vote against any budget measure that claws back a single dollar
  • Hold the line on zero-tolerance enforcement — I will oppose any legislation that weakens deportation authority, restores catch-and-release, or limits ICE’s ability to do its job
  • Cut off the fentanyl pipeline at its source — I will co-sponsor legislation that treats cartel trafficking as the national security threat it is
  • Stand with Hawley to keep China off Missouri soil — I will carry the Protecting Our Farms and Homes from China Act in the House
  • Keep ICE fully funded and fully empowered — criminals and violent offenders have no place in Missouri’s communities

Public Safety & Second Amendment Rights

Back the badge. Protect the innocent.

Kansas City has one of the highest homicide rates among major American cities. Emanuel Cleaver has represented this community for over 20 years, and that is his record. I will back law enforcement without apology, demand real consequences for violent offenders, and never cast a single vote to restrict your constitutional right to keep and bear arms.

  • Full support for law enforcement — funding, recruitment, retention, and the resources officers need to come home safe
  • Mandatory consequences for violent and repeat offenders — I will vote for sentencing measures that end the revolving door of repeat offenses
  • Defend the Second Amendment in every vote — I will never cast a vote to restrict law-abiding Missourians’ right to keep and bear arms
  • Oppose any federal policy that releases violent offenders early, weakens bail standards, or prioritizes criminals over community safety
  • Fight for the resources our officers deserve — recruitment, retention bonuses, and training so Missouri departments can hire and keep the best

Agriculture & Rural Missouri

Delivering for the farmers who feed America

The One Big Beautiful Bill was a landmark victory for Missouri’s farm families — $65.6 billion in new agricultural investment, commodity reference prices raised 10–21%, and core farm programs extended through 2031. My job in Washington is to defend it, build on it, and make sure every rural county from Cass to Cole gets what was promised.

  • Defend and fully implement the enhanced farm safety net secured in the One Big Beautiful Bill
  • Stop EPA overreach on water, land, and agricultural operations
  • Stand with Hawley to keep China off Missouri soil — carry the Protecting Our Farms and Homes from China Act in the House
  • Protect the Section 45Z biofuel and ethanol credit extended through 2030
  • Fight to bring high-speed broadband to every rural corner of this district
  • Fight for Missouri’s fair share of every federal infrastructure and rural development dollar

Faith, Family & Parental Rights

Parents decide — not bureaucrats

Missouri’s families built this district on faith, hard work, and the conviction that parents — not government — raise children. I will stand for those values without apology in every vote I cast in Washington.

  • Defend parental rights in education — co-sponsor and vote for federal legislation requiring curriculum transparency and giving parents legal standing to object
  • Empower parents with real accountability — parents should know what is being taught, be heard, and have meaningful options when a school fails their child
  • I am pro-life and I support the Dobbs decision — the question of protecting the unborn belongs with the people and their elected representatives
  • Guarantee religious freedom for every business, church, and individual — I will vote against any measure that compels Americans to violate their sincerely held beliefs
  • Oppose any federal funding of gender transition procedures for minors

Healthcare & Rural Access

Your doctor, your choice — not Washington’s

The One Big Beautiful Bill created the Rural Health Transformation Program — $10 billion per year to help states keep rural hospitals open and expand healthcare access in communities like ours. Medicare was protected. I will defend these wins, expand telemedicine, and fight every attempt to put government bureaucrats between Missouri patients and their doctors.

  • Defend the Rural Health Transformation Program — rural Missouri hospitals must stay open; I will fight against any effort to cut it
  • Co-sponsor legislation to make telehealth permanent — Medicare telehealth flexibilities expire again in December 2027; rural Missourians cannot keep living under the threat of losing their virtual doctor visits every time Washington fails to pass a budget; I will co-sponsor the Telehealth Coverage Act and fight to make these services permanently available to every patient in this district
  • Protect Medicare for seniors — it was protected in the One Big Beautiful Bill and I will oppose any cut or restructuring that reduces earned benefits
  • Protect Missouri taxpayers from Medicaid fraud — support the CRUSH anti-fraud initiative, demand work requirements for able-bodied adults, and ensure every Medicaid dollar goes to Missourians who genuinely need it
  • Lower prescription drug costs through market competition and transparency — not government price controls that stifle innovation
  • Oppose socialized medicine and any attempt to eliminate private insurance
